Oud Khol inspired by Guerlain

This perfume is pure, unadulterated class. Don't expect anything less. You get butter oud with very strong, fresh, and aromatic notes. The violet, aldehydes, white amber, geranium, and patchouli are so rich Oud Khol sticks to your ribs like pancakes. They push the fragrance beyond expectations. Oud kohl is a perfect union of french and middle eastern perfumery. Also, the incorporation of dry leather in the background adds to the fragrance's bold presence. There is saffron but it feels very crystalline, very beautiful. It blends in with perfection giving it a white incense vibe like the ash collecting around burnt incense. As Oud Khol develops the oud emerges with the leather to create a smooth incense white musk scent. You can describe the oud as leathery-animalic as any traces of skankiness are non-existent or maybe the crystal saffron has tamed it and transformed it as part of Oud Khol's unique smell. Khol does have a dry scotch whiskey smell due to the potency of the ancillaries: patchouli, geranium, saffron, white amber and the scratchy violet. Developing further, Khol is now an ethereal white amber, soothing white musk, and incense fragrance. The leather, oud, and saffron are still there, but they have changed and added to the incense fragrance. Oud Khol develops like burning incense, black, rich, and aromatic at first, then to comforting, spicy, and warm at the end. Oud Khol is powerful but smooth. Projection is a good 2-3 hours before it forms into incense and projects less 6-8 feet. The scent trail is strong so the time of projection could be more based on how much you apply of this sophisticated gem. Expect 10+ of this. The Oud finally takes over and carries the fragrance into the next day on clothes.
