Oud with a fresh twist
Oud by MFK is a very subtle but powerful unisex woody scent that literally resembles the smell of fresh cotton candy. It has a masterful blend of gourmet ingredients:
Cinnamon + Elemi + Bergamot + Rose + Ylang-Ylang + Jasmine
With this combination of ingredients it produces a sophisticated and very different take on Oud. One minute there is no oud, the next minute there is oud. However, I can definitely smell it. Misk Shoppe uses some really deep and sweet cedar notes that smell fantastic. It mixes in with the cinnamon, bergamot, elemi, Ylang and jasmine that gives a saffron and light oud vibe that turns the usual smokiness of oud into cotton candy. Yes sir…Misk Shoppe has gone full uppity and niche on us. The Patchouli which I think is some really high grade Indonesian Patchouli adds some woodiness to keep the ‘oudy’ aspect consistent. Lastly, there is deep sweet musk with aquatic overtones that makes this smell fresh and almost like vanilla pudding. You will love this. On skin it lasts 12+ hours and projects like crazy. This is a smooth and light cashmere oud you can wear year round and never worry about being in season or out of season. The light citrus in this makes this more appealing to wear this in the spring-summer with a light breeze…Booyah…there it is.
