An Incense 'Freshie' on Steroids.
If you like Incense themed fragrances this is your ticket to Paradise. You won’t find a rigid note pyramid of just ‘woods and incense’. You will find a more modern and appealing resin perfume that features deep greens, fruity florals, some interesting spice combos and a cooling Thyme note that sets the tone. Loban Exlir [LE] is definitely niche material because of a sophisticated line up of interesting notes that has amazing sillage and projection while promising to be in touch with today’s demand to be unique and not smell old school. You will smell insanely rich and very handsome with the Loban. Imagine a 25-year old Crypto Billionaire in Dubai hanging out at a packed Yacht party at midnight. Loban Elixir is a Unisex, fresh exotic incense banger. It has that smell of fresh burning labdanum crystals while being surrounded with mossy notes, vetiver, pine berries, freesia, a nice dose of vanilla and lavender. From the beginning a strong balsamic note hits you but the added greens, white musk, thyme and spices makes this enjoyable. Some of the spice notes which is nutmeg and ginger really makes this a must have as it gives this a Ginger Ale-Seven Up soda and maybe a little Absolu Adventus vibe but I think that’s from the juniper berries, cedar, caramel-like earthy amber and juicy freesia. Whatever it is, it’s working in here. I also pick up a little similarity to another banger; Ignite Oud by Ahmed Al Maghribi which is another Green smelling freshy with oud. However, LE stays true to form with the Labdanum-resin-incense theme. Once everything settles in this scent turns spectacular. Everything blends together perfect. I also forgot to mention that the patchouli and magnolia shines during the dry down. The performance is all day while you will smell clean, crisp and expensive.
