A gentmen's oudh
Haltane is a Gentlemen's oudh! It was made for Harrods of London..LOL So, PDM toned it down a bit for the Royal Family! Seriously, Haltane is not an exact match of Oudh for Greatness. Haltane is slightly more fresh and aromatic with the Clary Sage and Lavender. It also has praline so it gives some sharp candied sweetness but not a lot. This Misk Shoppe interpretation gives you the full effect. You can smell all of the notes as the oil quality is top notch. So, Haltane falls under the category of Oud scents that remind you of toasted bread smothered in butter. Real distinct but smooth. Later on in the day I'm getting a little Musk Tahara or Baccat Rouge 540 vibe but its the Clary sage, saffron and Lavender. This is a clean and fresh scent. Lasts Long and is very powerful. The oudh in this is immaculate! You cant go wrong with this one. I got some compliments with this.
