Dreamy suede with Tangerine , Mineral notes and mossy woods
If you haven’t tried Ganymede now is the time because the Misk Shoppe’s interpretation knocks this straight out of the park…grand slam home run in the 10th inning. You see, with Ganymede there is a lot of hate twice and twice as much joy. They hate Ganymede because of the metallic scent in the OG while others love it. They even hate Ganymede because of the Leather scent. LOL. Other people love it. So, Lastly, the tangerine note really triggers some people because it reminds them of Mango. Misk Shoppe’s interpretation solves all three problems:
1) Saffron and Nutmeg gives the tangerine a sweet creamy apricot dimension that makes this smell divine with the leather scent
2) It seems that the slight vanillia sweetness from the muget softens the crude metallic smell a bit to make it soft and breezy. The muget addition really takes this perfume over the top.
3) The suede note is present but it is buttery.
This perfume does not change the DNA it enhances it. You still smell Ganymede in this but this is really uplifting. There is some added sweet moss that adds to the scent’s depth. This fragrance is perfect for the evenings as it gives a comforting presence with buttery suede, light and breezy muget with softened mineral notes while the tangerine –musk-amber combo does it thing. Another thing to like is the honey and hay Immortelle scent mixing with dry woods.
I can’t think of a better arrangement of notes than the Misk Shoppe’s version of Ganymede. This is a really elegant scent with diffusive power. It will stay in your clothes for a few days so the projection and longevity is exceptional. The only thing I can say is the projection lasts all day because of it’s unique note composition: tangerine, suede, muget, moss, immortelle, patchouli, amber and musk.
