Dirty-Sexy-Clean
I'll start this review stating you might have to really scrub this off you because it is so magnetic and powerful. This is really strong stuff and quite impressive of how close it gets to the original. This Misk Shoppe version definitely lasts longer and will project like you won't believe. If you want a 'Fresh Take' on a freshie..Castley is the way to go. It starts off with fresh bergamont and is surrounded by deep saffron, and pepper. Then it becomes a little dirty, but fun, with a distinct pear note, muguet and some sweet jasmine sambac! So, at this point it has elements of YSL Y but takes a drastic turn with earthy amber, labdunum, moss and Tonka bean. Castley becomes dirty, a little darker and sexy. This is a sophisticated modern freshie that smells different and is distinct. Castley is literally poetry in motion to my nose after wearing it a few times. It almost feels oceanic but that Neroli and ginger mixed in really seals the deal...ITS STILL A FRESHIE but it just hits different. You can wear this for fall and winter to besides spring and summer. I will warn you...this is beastmode stuff. Excellent value and quality.
