This fragrance has been discontinued but this Misk Shoppe inspiration is your replacement with 98% accuracy, amazing sillage, 4+ hours of projection, next day and beyond longevity on clothes while lasting 8+ hours on skin. This is what Champion oud smells like. Before I break this review down let me tell you what this perfume smells like.
Alien Oudh Majestic (AOM) came out in 2015 but it has the best elements of these 5 fragrances:
1-Althair by Parfums de Marly. The orange citrus scent mixed with vanilla, spices and caramel
ized amber.
2-Safari by Abdul Samad Al Qurashi. Classic East meets west fragrance combining typical projecting middle eastern-Indian favorites: Saffron, Rose, Oud with vanilla, amber, musk and gourmand notes.
3-Oud Maracuja by Maison Crivelli. The oud is strong and carries the fragrance with the passion fruit. AOM uses seductive jasmine and smoothes the edges on the oud. The inky oud is non-existant.
4-Ombre Nomade by Luis Vuitton. Ombre nomade is known for it's leather, oud and raspberry combo. AOM has Labdinum giving a softer smell of velvet and smoother oud.
5-Vanilla 28 by Kayali. Vanilla 28 is strong. AOM's vanilla is smoother and even a little boozier.
So, if you like these 5 fragrances you need to pick this up like NOW. This is a classic OUDH unisex scent that is sweet but its a different type of sweetness...its Alien. Despite having elements of the five perfumes listed above Alien Oudh has it's own distinct smell. There is nothing on the market that smells like this. Why it was discontinued, nobody knows why but it was done in stupidity. This is one of the few perfumes that combines the best of eastern and west perfumery without compromising the oudh and amber. Safari and Aseel Special Edition by Arabian Oudh are the other perfumes that have the blue print for mixing hardcore oriental ingredients with french perfumery to create crowd pleasing bangers.
Now for the review. Expect a powerful, aromatic, and very refreshing scent trail when wearing this. Even though it came out in 2015, it smells like a 2025 perfume. The oudh is the centerpiece in this, but it is smoother and more mass-appealing. Misk Shoppe did a good job surrounding it with velvety amber and labdinum. This has a delicious velvet oud smell behind boozy vanilla, fresh-squeezed bergamot, and spices ( I get saffron and a little cardamom). The rose and bergamot gives it the right amount of freshness to wear this in the summer-spring and year round. This is a very unique and elegant scent so expect compliments with a lot of questions.
