A Phenomenal Attar!
This attar is really something else, and that ginormous crystal flacon is a pleasure to not only handle, but to marvel at as well. Al Qaiser is so well balanced that has 3 very distinct stages which slowly unfolds over many hours. In fact, the transitions from head, to heart and to base are so drastic that I am thoroughly impressed. And not just because of that which is a real bonus to how dynamic this perfume truly is, but for the fact that the ingredient quality is absolutely top and that the aroma is otherworldly. The whole concoction just smells wonderful to the maximum. It’s warm, and cozy, and thick and pleasant with a dry down resembling smoldering sandalwood/oud bokhoor. Al Qaiser opens as fresh with resinous and spiced shamamatul amber with just the tiniest and soapy taif rose that has quite the endurance for the first couple of hours until the stunning heart of full bodied Indian agarwood is showcased until around the 6th hour. Mind you that this oud is not oppressively heavy, nor is it barnyard. It’s actually the perfect amount of blonde oud that is so well balanced and so well constructed that one couldn’t possibly not be utterly impressed with how awesome this attar is. But the oud blended with a killer, creamy Mysore sandalwood leaves the wearer in awe as the dry down on this stuff is heavenly to say the least. The olfactory color is a light beige throughout that lands on a base of dusty and almost smoky sandalwood incense where the far dry down after 12+ hours has a mere wisp of a most excellent musk accord purely for fixative purposes that just blends perfectly within the background of Indian Mysore sandalwood and Indian oud. The whole affair for the entire duration is a cornucopia of dopamine rushes due to the dynamisms that this attar has to offer. The wearer will surely enjoy this complex ride as mentioned earlier that Al Qaiser really never stops changing. It is very impressive Al Qaiser is undoubtedly for men however, it is not brutally masculine. I really can’t find the words to praise this attar enough but what I can tell you is that I’ve experienced my fair share of attars from the low end to the high and this one right here absolutely blew me away. It is sheer pleasure from the moment the thick oil hits your skin well into the next day. Lasting power is eternal past 24 hours and of course as this is a genuine oud attar, sillage is far more than ample.
