The best Gourmand for 2025 with a Twist
This Misk Shoppe interpretation of Paco Rabbane’s latest private label release is a sillage projecting BEAST. The notes hit hard and fast and then build up to a wonderful blast of FRESH vanilla, lavender, creamy golden amber and Labdanum. It smells like vanilla frosting on a brand new suede coat. Then, throw in some cool lavender and bright golden amber that reminds you of butter and vanilla rum pudding. We are talking super niche quality and mass appealing stuff that will work in the office, formal events, on dates, and after the club LOL. It starts off with a nice dose of labdanum and Lavender and then transforms into a powdery and rich suede leather bomb with a cooling effect. It really has a late night after hours effect because the craftsmanship in this perfume is done with perfection. You won’t find the overdone youthful energy of Paco Rabanne’s previous releases like Invictus, or the 1 Million flankers. Expect to find a sophisticated and unique scent. The notes resemble ‘Skin scent’ material but there is nothing weak in this, it lasts until the next day. Misk Shoppe has jacked up the intensity in all of the notes to make your presence felt but in a subtle way. To make a long story short…this is a very potent compliment getter. If you are a fan of fragrances such as YSL’s Babycat, Christian Dior’s Feve Delicieuse, or Matiere Premiere’s Vanilla powder you will love this. Not saying it smells like them it smells like all three combined. One last thing….the dry down is amazing.
