La Luna is a powerful aromatic, amber and woody fragrance that uses warm spices and cotton candy for an enjoyable middle eastern fragrance. La luna is literally heaven in a bottle once you experience its rich velvet and ‘oudhy’ texture. The oudhy effect in La Luna is like medium toasted wheat bread loaded with fresh butter and sprinkles of nutmeg, clove and cardamom. Throw in some dry patchouli, cedar, earthy-rose, resins, sandalwood and cotton candy you get warm oudh with mild incense. What you will like about the oudh and incense is the smooth factor. You won’t get the crazy burning smokiness. Instead, you will get the lingering fumes and comforting ash when burning incense. This is the best part of this fragrance as it sets the tone. You will also experience an unusual tonka bean note. The bean note is prominent and grainy. It is used strategically with a smoky caramelized amber, sweet jasmine and powdery vanilla. La Luna can also smell like light brown sugar. This is an expert level composed fragrance that shifts during the development when applied and during the dry-down. Before the dry down begins this starts to turn into a euphoric aromatic and warm musk scent that projects loudly. Like a dry wind blowing in the Sahara desert with that good old cotton candy scent still hanging around. Wow…just wow. The sillage, projection and Performance is excellent. Once again, you get 10+ hours on skin, next day on clothes and 2-3 hours of solid projection while a commanding presence remains after 3 hours. La Luna will leave a scent trail. Just remember to apply enough and it will perform…NO CAP
