While, I havent smelled Balmain Destin for 6 months, and onky smelled it once this oil immediate took me back to that day. I havent done a side by side but I cant tell you to my experienced nose, VERY similar. I am making a gift for a friend and I wanted Destin to be the base. There may be a TINY difference... this one has the very vaugest touch of soapiness. Which is more likely due to the way the Lily-of-the-Valley is blended in. No one would notice, and is me being very picky. I can tell this pil is glimg to be long-lasting and potent. The dabbed is very small and precise and the bottle itself for 12ml is gorgeous. If you want an elegant, but flirty, romantic scent with elevated taste this is a good one to try.
