Musc Shamal is not thick and sticky like the others I just named. Also, you can get the same intensity, quality and depth in Misk Shoppe's concentrated oil and 40% Extrait de Parfum spray which is not thick and sticky. With Musc Shamal expect the same middle eastern musk smell you will find in Musk Tahara, White Musk Tahara or White Musk Maliki but with a touch of modernity. This is more clean musk and not as soapy. The rose is toned down while the tonka bean and vanilla adds a vanilla frosting touch. Its really nice and fresh as well. As it dries down the scent gets even better It has a smooth cooling velvet sheen to it. I say get this now. Perfect for layering or by itself.
