I must say that Misk Shoppe did an excellent job maintaining the original DNA all the way from 1995 when ME hit the market. The notes are crispy and clear like the OG so you will have fun with this safe blind buy. The highlights of this perfume are the neutral fruits which I think is apple plum , peaches and grapes but I could be wrong. The sea salt and water notes are beastmode! Very soothing, calming, and delightful. You really feel like you are in the ocean. The Iris note however makes this a classic. We've seen how Iris works in perfumes like Dior Homme Intense, Givenchy Gentlemen series or Prada's L'Homme. The Iris puts this perfume on another level without interfering with the Aquatic agenda.....Briiliant! The rest of the notes are citrus, musk, and woody notes that will appeal to the masses who decide to try something different and won't be intimidated. ME is still quite the compliment-getter it has intended to be. A solid aquatic scent if you like the addition of Iris-neutral smelling fruits-sea salt and Sicilian lemon, This fragrance presents that soothing coastal smell you encounter around dusk or late afternoon.
