When smelling this the first thing that comes to mind is the Misk Shoppe cult classic 'Saif Al Musk'. They are very similar but you need both! Lafayette imposes more citrus and earthy spice to give it a nice rustic musky smell. So it's a nice earthly fresh sophisticated smell. The juice is powerful and projects for a good 3-5 hours if you use about 6 swipes! LOL That's how you do it with Misk Shoppe perfumes. Longevity is not to be questioned as this is super duper concentrated. As the day progresses the apple remains constant and the Tonka Bean, Amber, Vanilla, and ambergris surround the scent and make it more pleasant. Lafayette is similar to 'Inspiration' by Al Rehab and Allure Sport Extreme by Chanel. However, this is stronger. Getting back to 'Saif Al Misk' it takes off where Lafayette ends as the Orris butter-Japanese Rose combo makes it 10 times more elegant. So, start with Lafayette and then follow up with the 'Saif'.
