An intoxicating scent with intrigue and mystery at its core, Polo Oudh inspired by Ralph Lauren makes an unforgettable statement by combining the depth and richness of woods with the freshness of spicy to reveal the sensual, exotic intensity of this elegantly nuanced oud. A Cavalier Oudh
This is a very smooth and bright gourmand woody scent that solves the problem of what is wearable oudh but still manages to keep an oriental presence. Polo Oudh is the answer and this inspiration brings out the best with the notes used. The sage, incense, pink pepper, cinnamon and amber make this smell like the creamy nouget inside of a Three Musketeers candy bar. Its rich with a neutralizing sweetness. Then the amber and oudh arrive and gives this a distinct flavor. The amber resembles caramelized honey with a hint of dates while the oud presents a cotton and warm ash feeling that feels mouth watering. There is definite craftsmanship in this creation as it seems like a rose and orange note work strategically instead of dominating most oud fragrances. Polo Oudh is warm, and comforting where resins and sage meet to form a rich oriental nougat. This smells divine.
What stands out is the amazing sillage. You will FEEL every note of that rich nougat. You will appreciate a nice ashy Thai Oudh instead of overpowering smokiness. This is more of a sweet and warm ashy oudh. Kudos to the Misk Shoppe for a true gourmet oudh fragrance. Give this a 10/10
