    A Markedly Remarkable Oud!

This is a wonderful oud oil. It is so pleasant and so unusual. The addition of Turkish rose coupled with Borneo oud is really something else. I have a very hard time describing this aroma. I am more than familiar with Indian, Cambodian and Vietnamese agarwood oils, and once upon a time I did have a small 1ml of oud oil from Borneo that did smell exactly like this perfume although that one was far more dry in feel. But what’s remarkable here is that the oil creates a bubble of what feels like humid, or moist air around you. It feels wet, and alive, and this sensation is there for the entire duration A very stellar, pleasurable and truly unusual experience. Very difficult to describe this sensation although it is without a shadow of a doubt a pleasurable experience and is quite noticeable. The soapy Turkish rose holds its own for a couple of hours until slowly fading away to leave the wearer to bask in the glow of a black wood where the dry down around 8 hours in somehow recreates an almost musky olfactory illusion. The perfume feels green in character which ironically the color of the oil is a dark green. The far dry down after 12+ hours almost creates what Brut would’ve been with a strong oud accord if there ever was such a thing that existed. The oil is masculine in feel and is definitely for a man. But the overall character is that of a 70’s or 80’s powerhouse for men, especially during the very long and drawn out dry down that has complexity for days. This oil is simply awesome, mainly for the fact that it is so unusual however, very wearable and definitely very interesting to adorn.
